P.U.M.A Mission Statement

The Professional Unification of Martial Arts is committed to providing the highest quality martial arts training to all of its members. In order to achieve this, all registered school instructors must fulfill the following:

Must have been training in their specified Art for at least three years. Must pass P.U.M.A. Instructors’ certificate. Must be technically proficient. Must maintain their own training with their instructor on a regular basis.

P.U.M.A. is also committed to providing a safe learning environment.

Therefore it is important that all instructors:

P.U.M.A. has an active inclusiveness policy.

In accordance with this, the following guidelines are stressed to all instructors and failure to adhere to them may result in disciplinary procedures:

P.U.M.A. is committed to providing value

P.U.M.A. is committed to providing value for money. Training fees should be in line with other P.U.M.A. schools in the area and should compare favourably to other associations which provide a comparable service.
It is the duty of all registered school instructors to adhere to this mission statement and to ensure that any assistant instructors are aware of its contents and adhere to it also.

Any complaints regarding failure to comply with any aspects of the mission statement to be directed to Mr. Ray Gayle, P.U.M.A Chairman.
